well done JFR.

I think the point that "the Democrats and Republicans are the same" or very similar gets greater credence from all this. I mean, so it's Obama and now he governs as LLoyd Dangle says, "like a moderate republican" ... and so some might say, Hillary was always the more "progressive" choice (given that both had very limited time in the Senate), but listening to her now shows it wouldn't have mattered who won.

The Parties are run by two narrow cliques of the wealthy with specific goals to protect their own interests, above all - GWB was at least honest, "some people call you the elite, I call you my base."

Also, when you comment on the possibly "funniest" line here, I think it is because you (and we who follow you) are capable of seeing the irony, but that a generational shift in the ten years since "9/11" means that others may not. Raised under the spectres authored by Rumsfeld, Bush, Cheney and so on, these people have given over their ideas of liberty or honesty. In fact what has happened since "9/11" is that people no longer perceive of this behavior as ironic or paradoxical, nor do they see the rawness of the propaganda.

Instead, from fear of the unknown (robbed of an education, most USamericans suffer in ignorance of how great, safe and peaceful most of the world really is), they aid the creation of this national narrative. This must be stopped. It's a fiction.

There is no one to shame him because they see no moral wrong in it. They've swallowed the red pill that puts them square in the USA narrative spread by four or five media companies, controlled by very wealthy private interests who generate a loud narrative they deem the National Narative - Obama, sadly, is merely a pawn in this.

How, then, can we evolve resistance to become organic, growing, forward-thinking, more honest and collaborative in the face of this? slow and steady wins the race. This website is a successful example.
Thank you.
